KARIZMA Auditions and Interest Meetings

*Does your dancer LOVE dance?

*Does your dancer like to PERFORM?

*Are you interested in the idea of your dancer being involved in an organization that not only entertains the community with their love of dance but also GIVES BACK TO THE COMMUNITY?

KARIZMA may be just the thing for your dancer!

If your dancer
* will be entering the 3rd grade or higher for the 2012-13 school year,
* has been enrolled in and has taken dance class(es) at BADA this year (2011-2012),
* has at least 2 years dance experience (not a requirement that experience acquired from BADA), and
* you AND your dancer attends one of the pre-audition interest meetings listed below,

then your dancer meets the requirements to audition for KARIZMA 2012-13!

To find out more and for your dancer to be eligible to audition for KARIZMA, you AND your dancer MUSTattend one of the pre-audition meetings. Parent and dancer DO NOT have to attend the same meeting; however, each of you MUST attend one of the meetings.

The KARIZMA 2012-13 pre-audition interest meetings are:

Sunday, May 6 at 6:15 pm
Monday, May 14 at 6:15 pm
Wednesday, May 30 at 6:15 pm
Monday, June 4 at 6:15 pm

KARIZMA 2012-13 auditions are Tuesday, June 5th.

Tickets on sale at BADA beginning April 2nd for $12.00 general admission & $14 Reserved.

Directions
Take Interstate 85/40 to Exit 140 (University Drive). From southbound 85/40, exit right and turn right. From northbound 85/40, exit right and turn left.
•Stay on University Drive for 1.4 miles and turn right on Highway 70 East/S. Church Street.
•Take Highway 70 East/S. Church Street to Williamson Avenue (.7 miles). Turn left on Williamson.
•Follow this road for 1.7 miles. You will cross railroad tracks as you enter the campus area.
•McCrary Theatre is inside the Performing Arts Center which will be on your right across from The Oaks and BEFORE you pass the lake.

Monday, March 26th - Vouchers in Office available for pick up.
Monday, April 9th - Cinderella tickets go on sale.
Thursday, April 26th - If voucher has not been signed for & picked up, tickets held for purchase will be turned over for sale for others to purchase.
Saturday, April 28th - Exchange vouchers for actual tickets & purchase up to 4 additional tickets.
- 12:00pm - Numbers will be handed out on a first come, first serve basis.
- 1:00pm - Numbers will begin to be called for ticket sales.
- 4:00pm - Ticket sales end.
Monday, April 30th - Tickets go on sale to the general public.

The regular class time is listed FIRST. The Make-Up Class date and time is listed SECOND. IF your class is listed as TBA, then we are still working on finding the best date & time. Thank you for your patience!

While we certainly understand how tight schedules are, please make every effort to have your dancer at class. Also, we ask that you notify us if your dancer is unable to attend the following make up class(es).

We will be happy to answer any questions you may have and we thank you for your commitment to BADA.

Inclement Weather Policy

Should we encounter inclement weather and you question whether we are having class:

*Call BADA one hour before class - 584.6727 for recorded message
*Check our Website - www.badadance.com for cancellations
*Watch WXII - Channel 12

Often the weather may be clear enough to have the earlier classes, however when the temp. drops or the weather worsens, we have to cancel later classes. When in question, please do one of the above before venturing out with your dancer.

Canceled classes (up to 4) will be made-up at a later date.

Although we hate to cancel classes, we will always err on the side of caution. Many of our older dancers drive in from surrounding counties. The safety of our dancers and the safety of our BADA families is our first, most important concern.

WE DO NOT ALWAYS FOLLOW THE ABSS CLOSURES/CANCELATIONS.
